Dr. Binura Jayaweera

Dr Jayaweera graduated with MBBS (Honours) from Monash University in Melbourne. He has worked in rural and metro hospitals throughout Australia across various specialties such as Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, ICU and Rural Medicine. He recently obtained a Diploma in Palliative Medicine from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.


Dr Jayaweera is passionate about looking after people from all walks of life and making a positive impact in their lives. He is particularly interested in contributing his skills in palliative care to communities in need.

Dr. Shakir Al-Joudi

Dr Shakir completed his medical degree at Monash University in 2014 and has worked and volunteered in various locations in Australia and overseas since. He has experience in multiple specialties, with a special interest in mental health and men’s health.

When not working, he would probably be rock climbing, surfing, or playing a musical instrument.

Dr. Daffodil Joseph Anton

Dr Daffodil Joseph Anton (she/her) is joining our team as the new GP Registrar, starting her specialty training in General Practice through RACGP.

She grew up in the Wheatbelt and completed her medical degree at Monash University in 2019 (MBBS Hons). She has since worked in various fields including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine in metro and rural Victoria, NT and WA. Daffodil has a keen interest in women’s and children’s health and she has just completed her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG).

Languages: English and Tamil. 

Dr Liam Walsh

Dr Liam Walsh grew up in Perth and completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy followed by a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery with Honours at Notre Dame University in Fremantle.

He spent a year at both Bunbury and Broome hospitals before completing 18 months of advanced training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King Edward Memorial Hospital.

He moved to the Margaret River region in July 2020 and splits his time between obstetrics, emergency medicine, general practice, and hospital administration.

When not at work, Liam enjoys spending time with his young family, fishing and riding motorcycles.

Liam consults in Augusta and Margaret River and delivers babies in Margaret River and Busselton.

Dr Heidi Tudehope

Dr Tudehope has worked in general practice, emergency medicine, inpatient care and obstetrics across the South West. Her special interest areas are women’s health and reproductive care, and she loves to work with motivated patients to achieve great outcomes in chronic disease management.

Dr Lia Jamieson

Dr Lia Jamieson grew up in Perth and completed her medical degree at UWA (MBBS Hons). She then spent time furthering her training in Perth and completed her Certificate in Emergency Medicine. 

She completed her general practice training in Broome and Perth and has now settled into life in Margaret River. Dr Jamieson has added to her RACGP qualification a Diploma of Child Health and is an AMA WA Youth Friendly Doctor. 

When not at work you will find her spending time with her family and swimming in the ocean. 

Dr Fintan Andrews

My qualifications: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery Notre Dame. Bachelor of Exercise Rehabilitation Science UWA. Fellowship RACGP. Diploma Child Health. Diploma Royal Australian College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine. 

Interests: General Practice, Paediatrics, Antenatal and Post Natal Care, Emergency Medicine, Skin Cancer Medicine, Musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation. 

Dr Jonika Mosedale

Dr Jonika Mosedale is a general practitioner currently working at Margaret River Medical Centre. She has previously spent time working at Broome Hospital. She attained her Fellowship of the RACGP at the start of 2020.

Dr Gary Wilson

Dr Gary Wilson is a Liverpool, UK born, Australia raised Univ. of WA graduate who has 39 years experience in general practice.  He locumed all over Sydney whilst also working as a semi-professional musician with his identical twin brother [also a GP] notably in the Western Suburbs in the ’80’s and ’90’s. There he developed an interest in human nature, geriatrics, mental health and addiction. Upon return to WA, he did post-graduate training in GP-based psychiatry and trained part-time for 4+1/2yrs as a psycho-analytic psychotherapist. He works in Margaret River MC and Augusta Clinic and visits a residential alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility once-a-week outside Nannup.  He has his own recording studio and has written music for TV documentaries & soundtracks including for Discovery Channel & Cavendish & EMI Publishing. His best attribute is his wife Jane. His religion is kindness.

Dr Shaun O’Rourke

Dr Shaun O’Rourke graduated from University of WA before spending time in South Africa as a young doctor.  He has been a hardworking doctor for many years within the community, with a broad experience.  He now focuses on his particular skills of emergency medicine and skin-cancer management.  Shaun is fond of good wine.
