Dr Emma Barrett graduated from Notre Dame with a Doctor of Medicine and has a certificate in emergency medicine. She has an interest in older adult, preventative health and occupational and environmental health.
Dr Barrett has additional qualifications and experience in Occupational Health and Safety OHSM) and is an accredited OEUK (OGUK) examiner and RMP for hazardous suntanned including asbestos, mercury, silica and nickel

Dr Nathalie Maron
Dr Nathalie Maron obtained her medical degree from UWA in 1997 and completed GP training in 2002 before travelling and working in the UK and Ireland where she worked in anaesthetics. She returned to Australia and moved to the south west in 2005 and has worked in general practice and local Emergency Departments in our regions since then.
She holds an Advance Diploma in Emergency Medicine and a Diploma of child health. Her special interest areas include travel medicine, women’s health and paediatrics.
Dr Nathalie Moran spends her spare time sailing and all things ocean and protecting our environment as well as trying to learn new languages. She is fluent in German and is learning Spanish.
Dr Lauren Buchan
Dr Lauren Buchan is an international medical graduate from South Africa, who is joining the team at Margaret River Medical Centre. She specialised as a Family Physician at the University of Stellenbosch in 2019, winning the award for top graduate in her country. For the past 5 years, she has worked as a consultant both in private and public sectors with a broad scope of practice. She has a special interest in aged care, mental health, woman’s health and chronic disease management.
Lauren is married with 2 young girls, and they have relocated to Margaret River.
Dr Lauren Buchan’s qualifications include:

2) Diploma of anaesthetics
3) Fellowship of the College of Family Physicians (South Africa)
4) Mmed, Family Medicine

Dr. Stephen Adams
Dr. Stephen Adams has been a GP for over 38 years having trained in England before emigrating to WA in 1994. He has recently moved down to Margaret River from Fremantle where he ran his medical and sexual health practice.
His special interests are in male and female sexual health, contraception, menopause and mental health. He fits Mirena IUDs and Implanons, iron infusions and has an advanced certificate in skin cancer surgery. He is also a medicinal cannabis prescriber.

Dr. Binura Jayaweera
Dr Jayaweera graduated with MBBS (Honours) from Monash University in Melbourne. He has worked in rural and metro hospitals throughout Australia across various specialties such as Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, ICU and Rural Medicine. He recently obtained a Diploma in Palliative Medicine from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Dr Jayaweera is passionate about looking after people from all walks of life and making a positive impact in their lives. He is particularly interested in contributing his skills in palliative care to communities in need. He is currently undertaking the Fellowship Support Program, on the path to Fellowship with the RACGP

Dr. Shakir Al-Joudi
Dr Shakir completed his medical degree at Monash University in 2014 and has worked and volunteered in various locations in Australia and overseas since. He has experience in multiple specialties, with a special interest in mental health and men’s health. He is currently undertaking the Fellowship Support Program, on the path to Fellowship with the RACGP
When not working, he would probably be rock climbing, surfing, or playing a musical instrument.

Dr Liam Walsh
Dr Liam Walsh grew up in Perth and completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy followed by a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery with Honours at Notre Dame University in Fremantle.
He spent a year at both Bunbury and Broome hospitals before completing 18 months of advanced training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King Edward Memorial Hospital.
He moved to the Margaret River region in July 2020 and splits his time between obstetrics, emergency medicine, general practice, and hospital administration.
Liam works closely with the Margaret River Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) midwives and delivers babies in Margaret River and Busselton Health Campus (including caesarean section).
When not at work, Liam enjoys spending time with his young family, fishing and riding motorcycles

Dr Lia Jamieson
Dr Lia Jamieson grew up in Perth and completed her medical degree at UWA (MBBS Hons). She then spent time furthering her training in Perth and completed her Certificate in Emergency Medicine.
She completed her general practice training in Broome and Perth and has now settled into life in Margaret River. Dr Jamieson has added to her RACGP qualification a Diploma of Child Health and is an AMA WA Youth Friendly Doctor.
When not at work you will find her spending time with her family and swimming in the ocean.

Dr Jonika Mosedale
Dr Jonika Mosedale is a dedicated General Practitioner with a broad range of clinical experience across both metropolitan and regional settings. She has worked at Fremantle Hospital and Broome Hospital, and completed her GP training in Broome and Margaret River. Dr Mosedale is committed to providin, patient-centred care for individuals and families in the community.
She has special interests in women’s health, including perimenopause and menopause, sexual health, child and adolescent medicine, and family medicine.
Outside of work, Dr Mosedale enjoys training in the pool, ocean swimming, and spending time with her young family.
